Hmm..Why I want to win a free trip to Yangon from AirAsia?Its because there are many exotic,fascinating and ancient places and tantalizing food and friendly people in Yangon.I would also love to study the Yangon citizens tradition.Here are a exotic and fascinating places I wish to visit in Yangon.Hopefully AirAsia would grant my wish =).
I would love to visit
1.Shwedagon Pagoda which is famous worldwide – its golden stupa is the ‘ Heart ’ of Buddhism Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. There are always many Myanmar People praying and making offerings at Shwedagon, and it’s a fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by.
2.Pin Tauk Village
I would love to go Pin Tauk Village to see Akha and Lahutribes.The villages are situated about 600ft above sea-level.In Pin Tauk village, Akha and Lahu people, been Baptized, have built a church in the middle of the village. The Akha are the largest minority in the Kyaing Tong area and surely the most colorful.This will certainly be an exotic place to visit =)
3.Ngwe Saung beach which is on the western coast of Myanmar on the Bay of Bengal, nearly directly west of Yangon and a bit south of Ngapali. It has become popular with tourists in just the last two or three years
the quality of the beach, sand and water is comparable to Ngapali Beach which is superb.
4.Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda which is located near downtown and also near the Shwedagon Complex, so it is easy to get to on any tour of Yangon. The Buddha image is 72m long. The head is about 30 feet high. Originally built in 1907, it had suffered damage due to climate and earthquakes over time so in 1957 it was basically demolished and then rebuilt in this structure next to the Ashay Tawya monastery. It was completed in 1966. Given the site it's hard to believe that this incarnation is 40 years old.
5.Hlawga Wildlife Park which is a park that covers 1,650 acres of land including the Hlawga Lake,which is a home for over 70 kinds of herbivorous animals and 90 species of birds. It also houses a museum of the replica of Myanmar traditional buildings and a small zoo with rock garden.I would really love to go there as i am an animal lover :)
I would love to see how the citizens of Yangon dress,what languange do they speak and how they look like,I do hope I could see them wearing traditional dress like this =)
And why I really want to win a free trip to Yangon from AirAsia?This is because i get to fly with AirAsia again which means I get to eat tantalizing meals onboard, friendly staff and sit on comfortable seats!!!WOOHOO!!I really love AirAsia!!!Now everyone can fly with AIRASIA!!!
